The coconut wax we use comes mainly from Southeast Asia (Philippines and/or Indonesia) and to a very small extent from Papua New Guinea and Ivory Coast. Coconuts are sourced from smallholder farmers and grown as a secondary crop. Coconut is a slow-growing tree and takes 15-20 years to start producing a crop. The trees are not cut down, the nuts are harvested. The trees grow in sandy soil, areas with high humidity, and there is generally no deforestation involved due to their slow growth and soil requirements.

Cutting copra from the tree is done using 4-meter-long sharp poles; the trees are not felled.

Every effort is made to ensure that all of our ingredients are produced safely and to the highest standards.

The crayons must be stored out of direct sunlight and in a safe, dry place, out of reach of children when not in use.

Our crayons are intended for use on paper and card. They are not specifically designed to wash off, but if this should happen, try using a cloth dampened with warm water to aid in cleaning.

Our crayons are handmade with love and we try to keep the production process as sustainable as possible. For this reason, there will be slight variations in shape and size, but this will not affect the quality or use.
