We are a family living on beautiful Ellingsøya. What started as a desire to help our own child has evolved into a mission to give all children the best materials to explore their creativity.

Our son loved to draw, but the traditional markers were hard for little hands to grasp, and the frustration took over the joy. We couldn't find any better alternatives, only plastic and paraffin.

So we decided to make our own. After over a year of testing and research, we developed the Dråpe crayon – an ergonomic and sustainable crayon made for little hands. The response from other parents has been amazing, and we love seeing how Dråpe gives children the freedom to express themselves.

Today, Scandinavian Crayon Company is more than just crayons. We collaborate with other Norwegian entrepreneurs to create sustainable drawing pads and bags, and have more exciting news on the way!
